We had large numbers of LIS students in the distinction list of each subject too. One year 50% of all admissions or what they called seats in the medical field in Delhi went to girls from LIS. We never had any students who failed in the boards or even got compartments. Miss Kamala Sengupta addressing The participants and spectators at the Lady Irwin School PT and Rhythmic Exercises.
